Karen Sperling paints commissioned portraits and landscapes both digitally and traditionally. Her mother was an artist and Karen has been painting since childhood and minored in art in college with a major in English.
Karen wrote the original Corel Painter manuals when the software debuted in 1991. She has been painting digital art with Painter ever since.
In 2007, Karen began painting abstract art based on her childhood dreams of highways turning into roller coasters and exhibited her work in New York's Chelsea section and during Art Basel Miami Beach.
