Karen Sperling paints commissioned portraits and landscapes both digitally and traditionally. Her mother was an artist and Karen has been painting since childhood and minored in art in college with a major in English.
Karen wrote the original Corel Painter manuals when the software debuted in 1991. She has been painting digital art and teaching how to do it ever since.
She has exhibited her art in New York’s Chelsea art district and during Art Basel Miami Beach.
Her paintings are held in private collections internationally.
